Residential Manager

Are you a strong leader who is passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live meaningful, independent lives? We are seeking a Residential Manager to oversee 2–3 community living arrangements (CLAs) and lead teams of Direct Support Professionals in creating safe, structured, and empowering residential environments.

This is a full-time, hourly leadership position eligible for overtime (as approved). The Residential Manager works a 40-hour week with flexibility to respond to emergencies, staffing needs, and critical program matters.

HOURS: SUNDAY - THURSDAY 7AM -3PM
TUESDAY-SATURDAY 3-11PM
SUNDAY - THURSAY 11P-7A

$23.03/HOUR

What You’ll Do:

Lead & Supervise:
  • Provide direct supervision to Lead DSPs and Direct Support Professionals.
  • Serve as a role model for professionalism, accountability, and person-centered care.
  • Conduct performance oversight, coaching, training, and development.
  • Manage staff scheduling and monitor payroll compliance.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and emergency response coverage.

Oversee Residential Operations:
  • Ensure daily structure, staffing coverage, and regulatory compliance at assigned homes.
  • Maintain consumer files, training documentation, and EHR accuracy.
  • Conduct quality inspections and review progress notes regularly.
  • Monitor medication administration and ensure staff are properly trained and certified.
  • Complete monthly fire drills and ensure home safety standards are maintained.
  • Monitor overtime and maintain alignment with program budgets.

Support Individuals Served:
  • Promote independence, dignity, and community integration.
  • Assist with daily living skills including meal preparation, hygiene, and household management.
  • Monitor and respond to crisis situations using best practices.
  • Communicate significant behavioral or medical concerns to supervisors.
  • Advocate for community resources and coordinate medical appointments.
  • Ensure a meaningful day and structured activities for individuals served.

Training & Development:
  • Conduct in-home orientation and competency-based training for staff.
  • Monitor training compliance and documentation.
  • Observe and complete medication practicums.
  • Facilitate individual-specific trainings such as “Getting to Know Me.”
  • Ensure staff meet state credentialing requirements.

  • Competence in assessments such as SIS or ICAP (state dependent).
